This site is dedicated to an ongoing discussion on the issue of ending the murderous affair of Abortion by the substitution of life-saving medical technologies which also dangerously advance Human Cloning agendas. Due to the tremendous opportunity for abuse of Life along with the destruction of Abortion, this requires additional legislation.
The pursuit of such technologies has the following merits:
1) The bypass of Roe v. Wade in that there is no need to overturn the law, but to simply make changes in the law which pull out the murderous rug from underneath Abortion. 'Pregnancy Termination' , 'Pro-Choice', and medical privacy would still be allowed, but just not the act of murder in light of new medical technologies which can soon recover the infant and grow to full term.
2) This provides a reasonable compromise between those who wish to end Abortion and those who wish to retain Pregnancy Termination options. It is something that would be desired by the majority of Americans.
3) Some 1.5 million American citizens killed by abortion clinics yearly for almost 40 years is too much. This nation has quietly slain probably around 58 million innocent Americans to date. In another 18 years, we’re looking at the loss of probably 27 million Americans and more. Though the technology solution proposed would be difficult and early stages would result in children incubated by artificial means -- thereby having some medical issues to tackle over time by enhanced neo-natal care and improvements in 'wellness' overall -- saving 1.5 million American citizens per year is a rather nice dream.
...It is possible to achieve! The possibility grows with each day. This site is for chatter on and building that dream in a suitably moral fashion that doesn't compromise existing Pro-Life strategies.
Upon reflection, some moral problems with this idea arise as follows:
1)EXCALIBUR should not be used in place of present agendas to overturn Roe v. Wade or to weaken the Anti-Abortion cause in any way. Such a new strategy would be best as a back-up plan to existing Pro-Life strategies (such as when it is found that RNC betrayals possibly lead to the further cementing of Roe v. Wade for decades to come). If harnessed properly, the idea may also be used as an additional prong of attack upon Abortion -- thus, splitting enemy resources and attention into unstable and drawn out positions. EXCALIBUR would be dandy as a flanking attack while existing Pro-Life chess moves strike from the front. Whether a Pro-Lifer agrees with the technology or not, the issue that there is such technology threatening mankind just over the horizon requires additional legislation in regard to the personhood of the infant in and outside of the womb!
2)By far, the biggest moral problem with EXCALIBUR as a strategy is that -- without further modification -- it would have us accepting Pregnancy Termination as the new, non-lethal means of Abortion. We would be accepting and compromising on sex without responsibility (which will go on regardless).
3)Worse yet, we would be encouraging diabolical technologies of the artificial womb in the hopes of rescuing millions of unwanted infants(but this science will advance in the world regardless).
These three moral flaws and others we cannot yet see will need to be resolved into an effective Pro-Life strategy in order for the primary good of the vision to become reality.
We welcome technical discussions on the matter, moral considerations, legislative considerations, and also political & economic chatter regarding a National Adoption Program when we can save so many infants.
